Teaching
My main affiliation is in engineering, yet I also have the chance to teach energy-related courses to students in management and bioengineering. Here are the courses where I am a (co-)titular.
Robust Optimization of Energy Systems LMECA2675
This course aims at training future engineers as users of robust optimization with a specific application to energy systems.
Sustainable development and transition LEPL1804
The course is intended to be an introduction to sustainable development and the necessary transitions in the socio-economic model to enable a good life for all within planetary limits.
Internal combustion engines LMECA2220
This course focuses on piston engines from the thermodynamics to the technological aspects.
Energy systems lab LELME2240
This course is mostly based on experiments in the lab with the goal of being able to characterise energy conversion technologies (heat pumps, engines, batteries, ...).
Energetics LELME2420
Based on seminars from experts in various fields, this course provides a broad outlook of the energy transition.
Project in Energy LELME2003
Addresses the implementation aspects of energy solutions in specific situations, such as the energy supply of an island.
Research and technological development — energy LINGE1317
Covers the energy transition and climate change.
Sustainability Engineering project LBIRE2236
The goal of this course is to analyze, diagnose and propose solutions to a problem in the field of sustainable engineering.
